Edwin Morales

August 30, 1953 - September 10, 2004

In 1972, Eddie joined the Air Force and became part of an elite Special Forces Team.   He served  two tours in Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia and was involved in the Saigon evacuation at the end of the Vietnam War.   He was decorated for his valor with numerous medals,  including the Purple Heart.

 

Upon his discharge from the Air Force, he immediately joined the Denver Police Department, where he protected and served for 25 years.  Eddie (also known as "Fast Eddie" to his friends on the Police Department) was a dedicated police officer, a terrific father of four, a loving brother, and a true American spirit.

 

Eddie died on September 10, 2004 due to complications from Lupus.
